Mr Manas Joshi is a law graduate from ILS Law College, Pune University who is a profound practitioner of Excise, Service Tax and a GST Consultant. Besides being a law graduate, he has also completed Diploma in Taxation Laws (DTL) and is a Certified Law Manager (CLM). Central Excise and Service Tax being his forte, he has an experience of 18 years in which he has worked with various consulting firms including the BIG FOUR. From audit of all kinds of firms and companies, liaison with excise and service tax departments, drafting opinions, and reply to show cause notices, appeals, to representing companies in a legal matter, he has experience in all. Under his mentorship, many companies conduct training sessions, wherein he guides and teaches employees related to subjects such as central excise and service tax.
Apart from his professional work, he is also a member of the GST Committee of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA). His contributions and suggestions related to Model draft GST Law through MCCIA and CII have also been a pivotal part. He has conducted more than 300 seminars in indirect taxes which include more than 240 seminars (in-house and open-house) related to GST Law.
